Funeral services for Lillie Doris Perry will be on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 5599 Hwy 570 Smithdale MS, at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bro. Eric Moak will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on April 6, 2022, from 10:00 until 12:00 PM.

Mrs. Perry, of Smithdale, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Meadville Convalescent Home with her loving family by her side.  She was born on December 3, 1948, in Prague, Oklahoma, to Walter and Edith Janda. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and worked for many years in the garment industry in retail sales. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, and was a member of the WOM committee. She was a loving Mother to Shawn and Shannon, a Loving Wife of 26 years, a grandmother to five grandchildren, and a friend to many.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and two brothers, Walter Lee Janda, and James Janda.

Survivors are her husband Ronnie Lea Perry; children, Shawn Burris and wife Jerro Burris, and Shannon Burris and wife Hannah Burris; siblings, Dale Janda, Marie Tronnier, Bernice Jacobs, Delbert Janda; grandchildren, Brittany Dela Cruz, Cody Burris, Savannah Carter, Harley Burris, Kyla Burris; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Shawn Burris, Shannon Burris, Cody Burris, Mike Thornton, Phillip Spring, Terry Burris, and Larry Dickerson.
