Mr. Lemuel Andrew (Drew) Porter, 54, of McComb, MS, formerly of Brookhaven, MS passed from this life on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at SW Medical Center in McComb, MS. He was born on January 10, 1966, in Brookhaven, MS, to Ed Lemuel Porter and Verna Mae Rushing Smith. He was a member of Topeka Baptist Church in Jayess, MS; worked for many years as commercial painter and was a craftsman who enjoyed building many different types of woodwork. Drew enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who also was an avid LSU sports fan.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Ed Porter and Verna Mae Smith; brother Eddie Wayne Porter and sister Judy Patterson.

Survivors are his wife, Heather Porter; children, Andrew Allen Porter, Cole Case and Lemuel Andrew Porter, Jr.; sisters Faye Smith (Allen), Jennifer Moak (Tony) and Mary Temple (Joe); grandchildren, Masyn, Grasyn and Carsyn Porter; special pet "Woody" and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
