Obituary

Funeral services for Lawrence "Reggie" McCullough will be on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Zach Kilpatrick will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on August 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM till the start of the funeral at 12 Noon.

Reggie McCullough, 67, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Monday, August 19, 2024 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born on May 15, 1957 in Brookhaven, MS to Lawrence Decator "Duck" McCullough and Nellie Ruth Moak McCullough.

He was a self-employed heavy equipment mechanic. Mr. Reggie enjoyed gardening, fishing and working with his son as well as supporting him at the race tracks. He loved his grandchildren and they loved their "PawPaw". One of his favorite sayings is "You can't expect to have anything or get anywhere unless you work for it." His greatest accomplishment in life was his son Ryan McCullough.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence "Duck" McCullough; mother-in-law Eva Anding Nations; and brother-in-law Randy Pepper.

Survivors include his wife of over 47 years, Jackie Lynn Nations McCullough; son Ryan McCullough and wife Melinda; mother Ruth McCullough; grandchildren, Miranda Russell and husband Clayton, Chase McCullough and girlfriend Madison Norwood, Hannah McCullough, Shelby Howell and husband Donnie, Heidi Callendar and husband Justin, Olivia Kimble and fiancé Jesse Peavy, and Christopher Kimble; great grandchildren, Nova Howell, Langston Callendar, Wyett Howell, Georgia Peavy, Joleigh Howell and Hunter Jed Russell (who is on the way); brothers, Donald McCullough and James McCullough and wife Judy; brother-in-law Dudley Nations and wife Susan; sisters-in-law Lisa Jackson and husband Jimmy, and Jill Pepper; father-in-law Curt Nations; and numerous nieces and nephews.
