Lavada Morse, 89, died peacefully April 3, 2021, at her home in Brookhaven, Miss. She was surrounded by family and friends to the very end of her full life.

Mrs. Morse was born May 20, 1931 to Marshall (Bud) and Bertha Givens. Her mother died during childbirth. She was adopted by Lona and Morris Lofton, and beloved by her siblings Ettie Vee Boyte, Virgie Ruth Diamond and Paul Lofton.

She enjoyed spending time and sharing laughter with family and friends, who describe her as deeply caring and selfless.

Mrs. Morse was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Morse, parents, siblings, and one grandchild, Wade Hall. She is survived by five children Mike Emfinger, Sandra Hall, Roger Morse, Darrell Morse, Jenny Morse, thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Pall bearers for the funeral service are Todd Hall, Matthew Morse, Seth Brown, Tucker Brown, Jacob Morse, Mason Hall, Peyton Morse, Luke Lofton, Chase Simmons, and Corey Harwell.

The family extends a special thanks to her church family and friends who generously offered prayers and support near the end of her life.
