Funeral services for Mr. Larry Russell Lofton will be on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Tim Broxson will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Friday, August 25, 2017, from 5 PM until 8 PM.

Mr. Lofton, 65, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at his residence on Pops Lane with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 15, 1952 in Brookhaven, MS, to Russell Lofton and Raybelle Porter Lofton. He was self-employed at Lofton's Body Shop. Mr. Lofton married his wife Pat, on July 22, 1994. They were married for 23 years, and he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. His family will always carry his memory in their hearts and see to it that his stories live on forever.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Russell and Raybelle Lofton.

Survivors are his wife, Pat Lofton; son, James "Jay" Lofton and wife Kim; daughter, Tammy Dixon and husband Tommy; step-son, Scotty White and wife Brandy; brothers, Joe and John Paul Lofton; sister, Sandra Sharp; grandchildren, Kayla, Cam, Zayne, and Zaya Lofton, Lauren and Megan Norton, Caden and Dawson White, Bradyn Brister, and Jessica Dixon; great grandchildren, James "J. T." Tarver and Joshua Eli Tarver; and a host of family and friends.
