Kathleen Garvin's Obituary
Memorial services for Kathleen Garvin will be on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Concord Baptist Church in McCall Creek, MS at 3:00 PM. Bro. Willie Wright will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Memorial gathering will be at Concord Baptist Church on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
Mrs. Garvin, 55, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 10, 1962 in Wichita, KS, to the late Jimmy Garvin and Eve Rushing Roper. She was a member of Nola Baptist Church; worked as a manager at Pizza Hut, Sonic, and Walmart before becoming disabled; and enjoyed woodworking, crafts, flea markets and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Preceding her in death was her father, Jimmy Garvin.
Survivors are her daughters, Elizabeth Moradmand of Brookhaven, MS, Stephanie Wolff Kelley and husband Jonathan of Brookhaven, MS, Samantha Wolff of Bogue Chitto, MS, Jennifer Wolff Pope and husband Dewayne of Oak Grove, LA, Heather Wolff of Baton Rouge, LA, Summer Wolff of Brookhaven, MS, Jamilynn Wolff of Brookhaven, MS, and Jessica Wolff of Brookhaven, MS; son, Chris Wolff and wife Sabrina of Summit, MS; mother, Eve Rushing Roper of McCall Creek, MS; sisters, Genette Garvin Ratcliff of McCall Creek, MS, Cindi Garvin Hawley of McCall Creek, MS, and Sandra Garvin Cupit and husband Gery of McCall Creek, MS; 9 grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Luke's Hospice.
