Funeral services for Kary Bishop Womack will be on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Powell's Grove Pentecostal Church (454 Powell Grove Road, Jayess, MS) at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Bro. Lee Alexander will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Powell's Grove on Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Womack, 79, of Jayess, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at home with his loving family by his side.  He was born on January 14, 1943, in Tylertown, MS, to Willie Bishop Womack and Rebecca Thames Womack.  He worked for many years as a diemaker / machinist at Croft Metals and as a dairy farmer; and enjoyed farming, hunting, riding horses, cows, going to sale barns, swinging in the swing, and whittling on sticks.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, Betty Ruth Bridges Womack.

Survivors are his son, Randy Womack and wife, Tanya; daughters, Peggy Smith and husband, Danny, Rachel Williams and husband, Marty, and Sherry Smith and husband, Craig; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Fulton Womack and wife, Donna; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Chase Smith, Tanner Smith, Jacob Merritt, Gavin Givens, Braxton Jordan, and Mason Alexander.
