Memorial services for Mrs. June Linton will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, MS at 6:00 PM. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Linton, 88, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on October 12, 2023, at Silver Cross Nursing Home.  She was born on June 22, 1935, in Washington, DC to Boyd and Phyllis McDonald.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband of 61 years, William H. Linton.

Survivors include her children; John Linton (Evie) of Rockville, Maryland and Catherine Cutler (John Thibodeau) of Danvers, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, John, and Anna; and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind one sister, Carol Gooding of Manassas, Virginia.

Mrs. Linton loved her Lord and served faithfully for many years at her church, Central Baptist. With too many accomplishments to list, her greatest was her ability to light up a room with her laughter and sense of humor. She will be sorely missed, and she was very loved.
