Funeral services for Mr. Julius "Wayne" Richardson will be held at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Friday, November 8 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with graveside services following in the Turner-Richardson Cemetery, Bogue Chitto. A visitation will take place on Thursday evening, November 7, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Bro. Tony Ganey will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Richardson, 72, of Bogue Chitto, MS passed from this life on November 3, 2024. He was born to Julius Richardson and Ellen Adams Richardson Rhodes on December 17, 1951 in Brookhaven.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine B. Richardson; his father; and many other beloved family members.

Survivors include his mother; daughters Stacey Sisk (John) and DeShanna Smith (Shane) both of Bogue Chitto; grandsons, Charles Wayne Smith (Lexie Cummins Smith), Trevor Smith (Abby Pounds); granddaughters, Hannah G. Smith, Hailey M. Smith; great-granddaughter, Dixie Claire Laine Smith; great-grandson, River Logan Smith; and his siblings, Jack Richardson (Peggy), Johnny Richardson (Julia), and Debra Keeton (John); along with a host of extended family members and friends.
