Julia Ann Mejia's Obituary
A memorial service for Julia Ann Mejia will be on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS. Revs. Lloyd and Regina Blount will be officiating the service, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will also be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
Mrs. Mejia, 60, passed from this life on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 29, 1956 in Brookhaven, MS, to Johnny and Margie McKee. She enjoyed music, gardening, her family and was a loving wife, mother, and friend.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Johnny and Margie McKee.
Survivors are her husband of 29 years, Donald Mejia, Jr.; daughter, Rachel Mejia and son, Donald (Joey) Mejia, III, all of Brookhaven, MS; sisters, Susan Robertson and husband Kenneth of Gulfport, MS, Angela Smith of Brookhaven, MS, Teresa Abrams and husband Russell of Bogue Chitto, MS; brother, Jonathan McKee of Bogue Chitto, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
