It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Wahl Hall announces her passing on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the age of 75. She passed away at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Judy was born on February 23, 1948 in Jackson, Mississippi to Carl and Doris Wahl. She graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1966 and obtained a bachelor's degree from the Mississippi University for Women in 1970. Judy's favorite pastime was hunting for fossils and arrowheads and taking scenic road trips with her husband, DC.

Judy enjoying working as a petroleum landman since the early 1980's. She developed close, long-lasting friendships with several people in the oil and gas industry and mentored junior workers in her field. She was a shining example of hard work, professionalism, and dedication.

Judy was baptized at First Baptist Church in Brookhaven as a child and never lost faith that the Lord Jesus was her Savior. She displayed strong leadership and love for her family, ensuring that her parents' and children's' needs were fulfilled. She was married to David Hall for 38 years, and he was the love of her life.

She is survived by her husband, David Hall, daughter Melissa Wilson and son-in-law Michael Rutledge and David's adopted daughter Stephanie Haynes.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Wilson and parents Carl and Doris Wahl.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 at Riverwood Memorial Park..
