Funeral services for Mrs. Judith Singleton Cotten will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, MS at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Judith Cotten, 81, of Baton Rouge, LA was born on December 5, 1943, in Plaquemine, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025.

Judi is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Donnie James Cotten, age 83; her son Kyle Cotten (Kim) along with their children Kayla, Corey, and Camryn; her son Clay Cotten (Jennifer) along with their children Riley and Presley; and by the children of her late son Chad- Nicole and Justin (Yesenia)- as well as her great-grandchildren, Daniel and David.

Judi was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. Singleton and Marjorie Smith Singleton; her beloved son Chad; and brothers Gerard Singleton and Wesley Singleton.

A faithful wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, Judi dedicated her life to her family. She and Donnie built a life together centered on love, faith, and family, creating a legacy that will live on through their children and grandchildren.

Judi's warmth, kindness and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers will be Riley Cotten, Justin Cotten, Ethan Coleman, Barry Tinsley, Shane Coleman, and Glen Evans.
