Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Herrington will be on Saturday, September, 16, 2023, at Apostolic Faith Church in Byram, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Hopewell Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Dillon will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Apostolic Faith Church on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Joyce Marie Herrington, 68, of Byram, MS, passed from this life on September 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.  She was born on July 10, 1955, in Wesson, MS, to Thomas Thedford Sr. and Shirley Bansley Thedford. She was a member of Apostolic Faith Church; worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse; and enjoyed helping and serving people very much.  She loved to read and travel.  She also loved gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William F Matthews Sr; siblings, David Thedford and Benny R. Thedford.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Herrington of Byram, MS; Daughter, Cynthia Robertson (Michael); son, William F Matthews, Jr (Angela Dill); sisters, Patsy Cline, Joann Borel (Joey), Cindy Rippy (Wayne), Shirley Cline (Zane); brothers, Thomas Thedford, Jr. (Tammy) and Johnny Thedford; and 11 nieces and nephews.
