Mr. Joseph Clyde "Pete" Coone, Jr., 78, of McCall Creek, MS, passed from this life on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was born on June 5, 1939 in Bogue Chitto, MS, to Joseph Clyde Coone, Sr. and Estelle Rippy Coone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching his grandsons play ball.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, Samuel Coone.

Survivors are his sons, Kerry Wayne Coone; his daughter, Sharlae Nevels and husband Ralph; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Private funeral services for Mr. "Pete" Coone will be handled at a later date.
