Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Clinton Boswell will be on Friday, November 17, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 10 AM with burial to follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Jerry Sullivan will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Boswell, 79, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Monday, November 13, 2017, at his residence in Brookhaven, MS. He was born on November 13, 1938 in Lawrence County, MS, to Jan and Bessie Moak Boswell. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and raising chickens. Mr. Boswell was a loving, caring, and dependable father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; granddaughter, Brandy Cole; sisters, Betty Love, Grace Prather, and Mary Rushing; and brother, James Boswell.

Survivors are his 6 children, Billy Boswell and wife Sandy, Tina Cole and fiancé Rickey McClelland, Jesse Boswell and wife Connie, Jeannie Knight and husband Eddie, Melinda Cessna and husband Dale, and Cindy Hicks; grandson, Ricky "Bud" Potts and wife Nicole; 14 total grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Rachel Hall and husband James and Beverly Wilkinson; and a host of family and friends.
