Funeral services for Mr. Jose L. Rosero will be on Monday July 3, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 2 PM with burial to follow in the Phalti Baptist Church Cemetery in Prentiss, MS. Bro. Chris Layton will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will also be on Monday at the same location from 10 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM.

Mr. Rosero, 90, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Friday, June 30, 2017, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on March 28, 1927 in Quito, Ecuador to Jose and Maria Piedra Rosero. He enjoyed reading, gardening, and music. Mr. Rosero was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Jose and Maria Piedra Rosero.

Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Shelby Gene Rosero; daughters, Alicia "Lisa" Baudean and husband George of Scottsdale, AZ and Monica McConnell of Slidell, LA ; son, Joseph K. Rosero of Metarie, LA; grandchildren, Shelley Baudean, Tommy McConnell, and Todd McConnell; great grandchildren, Henry McConnell and Mia McConnell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
