Graveside services for Mr. John Randall Mullins will be on Friday, July 3, 2020, at Lucien Baptist Church Cemetery on Hwy 84 E. Johnnie Wayne Dillon will be officiating the service with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mullins, 77, of McCall Creek, MS, passed from this life on Monday, June 29, 2020, in Jackson, MS with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 25, 1942, in McCall Creek, MS, to James Reuben Mullins and Rosalie McIntyre Mullins. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; worked for many years as a Wildlife Biologist for the State of Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Department; and loved hunting and being in the woods in general. He was an avid reader and loved having his family visit him. He loved the Lord Jesus and appreciated all the hugs from the members of his family and his church. He was kind, gentle, and compassionate. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James Reuben Mullins and Rosalie McIntyre Mullins; his wife, Johnnie Lott Mullins; his daughters, Kelly Larue Mullins, Jeanne Nicole Mullins, and his sister, Mona Mullins Williams.
Survivors are his wife, Sandra Mullins; his children, Shannon Simone Mullins Marcotte and husband Steven, Jamie Samantha Mullins Barthel and husband Stephen, John Ruben Mullins and wife Kayci; his step-children, Robert Ward and wife Sue, Dana Ward Lefort and husband Paul, Darren Ward and wife Joanna, Shawn Ward and wife Kim; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren and 1 baby girl on the way; siblings, Teresa Mullins Ruffina and husband Charlie, Phyllis Mullins Smith and husband Ronnie, and Bianca "B" Mullins Redman and husband Peter; and a host of family and friends.
