Obituary

Funeral services for John Mitchell Hall will be on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Moaks Creek Baptist Church in Lincoln County, MS, at 12:00 Noon with burial to follow in the Moaks Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Mike Alexander and Bro. Jesse Greer will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Moaks Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.

Mr. Hall, 65, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville, MS with his loving family by his side.  He was born on November 12 ,1956, in McComb, MS, to John Henry Hall and Loretta Johnston Hall. He was a member of Moaks Creek Baptist Church for many years.  Mitchell worked for many years in the oilfield industry and later in life as a bail-bondsman and farmer. He loved traveling. He was a loving and giving person. He was a resident of Bogue Chitto all his life and loved his community and neighbors.

Preceding him in death was his father John Henry Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Kennedy Hall; mother Loretta Johnston Hall; children, Michelle Milton (Lea), Ryan Hall, Amanda Easley, Kayla Easley and Eric Easley; siblings Sheila Hall (Jack) and Cindy Bass (Marlin); grandchildren, Anderson Milton, Ainsley Schroeder and Bentley Malbrough; and a host of family and friends.
