Johanna C. McManus Myers of Brookhaven, MS passed from this life on Friday February 7, 2025 at home with her loving family at her side. She was born on August 13, 1935 in Chicago, IL.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven; she sewed and stuffed frogs for children at the local hospital. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her husband Wayne McManus; her parents; her daughter, Virginia Strahan; and her brothers and sister.

Survivors are her sons Peter LeBron, Emanuel Lebron and Jimmy McManus and her daughter Josette McManus Vinson; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation will take place at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Monday, February 17, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM in Easthaven Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
