Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Jo Beth Allen Waldrop will be on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS, at 2:00 PM. Dr. Garland Boyd will officiate the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 5:00 until 9:00 PM and on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Macedonia Baptist Church from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

Beth, 66, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Monday, March 2, 2020.  She was born on August 24, 1953, in Brookhaven, MS, to Cecil and Jo Pearl Avants Allen. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson.  She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, mamaw, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, nanny, niece, cousin, and friend.  She was a gifted crafter and an expert mamaw.  She cared for many children over the years in her home and in the nurseries at Calvary and Macedonia.

Survivors are her husband, Jeffrey O'Neal Waldrop; sons, Allen O'Neal Waldrop and wife Lauren, and William Jess Waldrop and wife Amy; grandchildren, Zoe Kaitlin, Hayden O'Neal, and Nolan Reese; sisters, Gina Allen Kim (Gil) and Lucy Allen Smith (Kirk); nephew, Walt Allen; and a host of in-laws whom she adored.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be provided to the nursery fund of Macedonia Baptist Church.
