Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Morrell Smith will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Clear Branch Baptist Church in Wesson, MS, at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in the Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Zachary Smith and Bro. Wayne Moak will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Clear Branch Baptist Church on Friday, June 14, 2019, from 10:00 AM until 12 PM.

Mr. Smith, 80, of Wesson, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 23, 1939, in Lincoln County, MS, to Timmie Smith and Coney Ella Travis Smith. He was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Smith worked for many years in sales. He enjoyed talking with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Timmie and Coney Smith; wife Dones Adams Smith; great grandchild Olivia Maxwell Smith; and brothers, Grafton Smith, A. J. Smith and W.J. (Billy) Smith; sisters, Lorene Furlow, Geraldine McGraw and Sarah Smith.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Williams Smith; children, Terry Smith and wife Suzanne, Vickie Newman and husband Henry, Kristy Gates and husband Bobby II; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister Flora Massey and husband Ippy; and a host of family and friends.
