Funeral services for Mr. Jimmie Glenn Smith will be on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the New Hope UMC Cemetery in Loyd Star, MS. Bro. Mike Lips will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Friday, April 13, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Jimmie, 74, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at King's Daughter's Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 21, 1944 in Brookhaven, MS, to Garland L. Smith and Vivian Waldon Smith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but loved his family most of all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Tony Glenn Smith; and his brother, John L. Smith.

Mr. Jimmie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nita Faye Smith; his sons, Bruce K. Smith, and Kevin W. Smith; his daughter, Lesia Smith Falvey; his brother, Jack R. Smith; his grandchildren, Gaden Smith, Grant Smith, Emily Britt, Julie Smith, Casee Smith, Grayson Falvey, and Memphis Falvey; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
