Funeral services for Mr. Jimmie D. Richardson will be on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 3:00 PM with burial to follow in the New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery in Loyd Star, MS. Rev. Pam Randall will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Mr. Richardson, 81, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Monday, March 27, 2017, at the New Dawn Retirement Home in Ruth, MS. He was born on January 29, 1936 in Maysville, OK, to Perry Richardson and Beatrice Milligan Richardson. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially cutting grass and riding his golf cart. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50+ years, Rita McGee Richardson; and his parents.

Survivors are his son, Darrell Richardson; his daughter, Brenda McIntosh; and his grandson, Hunter Richardson; and a host of family and friends.
