Funeral services for Mr. Glynn Davis will be held at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon; graveside services will follow in the Bogue Chitto Cemetery (Twin Oaks). The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on the same day from 12 o'clock noon until time of services.

Mr. Jerry "Glynn" Davis, 68, passed away at his home and surrounded by family on Thursday, August 13, 2026; he was born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, on September 25, 1957, to Russell E. and Dorothy Mercier Davis.

He is preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Dalton Gene Duncan; a brother-in-law, Ben Porter; and a sister-in-law, Sheila Davis.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his son, Scotty Davis; his siblings, Patricia Porter, Tommy Davis, Sharon Wallace (Steve), Lynn Howard (Doyle), and David Davis (Amy); special friends, Connie Rayborn and Ricky Moak; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
