Funeral services for Jason Keith Smith will be on Monday, December 26, 2022, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Wesson Cemetery. Dr. Garland Boyd will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Monday, December 26, 2022, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM.

Mr. Smith, 32, of Wesson, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, December 22, 2022.  He was born on July 18, 1990, in Port Arthur, TX, to Billie Branum Phillips. He attended Macedonia Baptist Church. He was an employee of Westlake Chemical in Gallman, MS as an operator. He was also the owner of S & S Treeworks.  Jason loved his wife and 3 girls. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and a friend to many.

Preceding him in death were his great grand-parents Charles and Mary L. Branum of Brookhaven.

Survivors are his wife, Ashley Smith; daughters, MacKenzie, Madison and Macie; mother Billie Phillips; father David Phillips, Jr.; grandfather Billy Branum; grandmother Martha Cupit Seim; brother Vincent Rials, Jr.; sister Amanda Selman and husband Brett Selman; brother-in-law Jake Pippen; nieces and nephews Gabe, Genesis, Michael, Dawson, Tiffany, Ally and John; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Brandon Bland, Ben Riddell, Clint Scott, Jordan Westrope, Ryan Williams, and Jacob Smith.
