Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Kay Thompson will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in (894 Natchez Drive) Brookhaven, MS at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Dr. Garland Boyd & Bro. James Harris will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Thompson, 62, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 6, 1956 in Brookhaven, MS, to James Alton Case and Minnie Crosby Case. She enjoyed writing, music, and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend.

Survivors are her son, David Lynn Thompson and wife Heather; her daughter, Breanna West and husband Gerard, Sr.; her grandchildren, Tabitha Case, Haize, Anniston, Coen, and Abel Thompson; her parents, Minnie Crosby Case and Alton Case; her sister, Wanda Coke; her brother, Donnie Wayne Case; and a host of family and friends.
