Graveside services for Mrs. Jane Ann Smith will be on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS, at 3:00 PM. Bro. John Ward will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 76, of Brandon, MS, formerly of Brookhaven, MS passed from this life on Friday, September 3, 2021, at River Oaks Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born on January 8, 1945, in Pasadena, TX, to Curtis Smith and Naomi Starbuck Smith. She was a member of Grace Bible Church in Brandon, MS. Mrs. Smith was retired from MS Employment Service Commission where she worked for many years in Brookhaven, MS and continuing at their location in Jackson, MS.  Mrs. Jane, in her own words, always strived to be a good person and a good mother, aunt and grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents Curtis and Naomi Smith; siblings, Alvin Curtis Smith and Diane Ellen Smith Foster and the father of her children, Billy Glen Day.

Survivors are her children, Cindy Day Alexander and Randy Day; grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Alexander and Jordan Alexander; Niece Amy Foster Ryan and Nephew Donnie Foster and a host of family and friends.
