Funeral services for James Wesley White will be on Friday, May 12, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Fair River Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Chris Shepherd will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday, May 12, 2017, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. White, 76, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at his residence. He was born on October 17, 1940 in Lawrence County, MS, to Willie O. and Ila Vee Smith White. He was a member of Nola Baptist Church; worked for many years as a plumber; and enjoyed family time on the river. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Carolyn White; daughter, Wendy Beeson; son, Dustin White; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his sisters, Jackie Matthews and Willie Faye Sanders; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Billy Douglas, Corey Beeson, Jeremy Beeson, Shane McCullough, Mike Owens, and Dale Foster.
