Funeral services for Mr. James Wallace will be on Monday, December 4, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 2 PM with burial to follow in the Bogue Chitto Cemetery in Bogue Chitto, MS. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Mr. Wallace, 78, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, November 30, 2017. He was born on November 9, 1939 in Summit, MS, to Jewell Wallace and Ruby Freeman Wallace. He enjoyed music and spending time with his family and friends.


Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Ellen Lofton Wallace; daughters, Deanna Vail (Stan), and Laura Wallace; son, Jami Wallace; grandchildren, Lauren Barnes, Dylan Vail, and Danielle Wallace; great grandchildren, Rick Barnes, Hayden Barnes, and Skylar Armstrong; brother, John Wallace (Ruth); sister, Lavern Hardin; and many other family and friends.
