James Larry Renfroe, 83, of Brookhaven, MS passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. Mr. Renfroe was born November 12, 1940 in Jayess, MS to Lee Roy Renfroe Sr and Mattie Tullis Renfroe.

Mr. Renfroe worked as a lifelong self-employed painter, contractor and owner of L&D Auction.

Mr. Renfroe loved his family, his friends, and his Lord.

Mr. Renfroe is survived by his children; Tim Renfroe (Melissa) of Brookhaven; David Renfroe (Laci) of Brookhaven; Sonya Blanchard (Eric) of Denham Springs, LA; seven grandchildren, Heather Champagne (Justin), Alex Powell (Samantha), Haley Nickell (Aaron), Peyton Blanchard, Jackson Refroe, Russell Brewer (Jessica), and Dustin Brewer (Riley); 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his first wife and mother of his children, JoAnn Allen Renfroe of Denham Springs, LA; as well as two sisters, Irene Davis of Monticello, Nell Shirley of Brandon; and one sister-in-law, Mary Alice Renfroe of Jayess.

Mr. Renfroe was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Lee Roy "Bug" Renfroe, Jr., Robert Renfroe, and Jerry Renfroe, two sisters Margaret Ward and Betty Jean Watkins, and two grandchildren Brandon and Morgan Blanchard.

Pallbearer's will be Tim, David, Jackson and Royce Renfroe, Keith Marbury, Noah McLaurin. Honorary pallbearers are Mickey Marbury, Wayne Renfroe, Ken Renfroe, Carl Smith.

Visitation will be Monday January 29th at Brookhaven Funeral Home 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday

January 30, 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Followed by a graveside service at Tilton United

Methodist Church Cemetery in Jayess, MS.
