Funeral services for Mr. James Aaron Smith will be on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in (894 Natchez Drive) Brookhaven, MS at 1:00 PM. Bro. Zachary Smith will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Mr. Smith, 38, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on February 4, 2019, in Brookhaven, MS. He was born on April 15, 1980 in Brookhaven, MS, to W. J. Smith and Annie Pearl Franklin Smith. He enjoyed playing pool, listening to music, cooking and loved his job and his church. He was a member of Brookway Baptist Church of Brookhaven, MS. Mr. Smith worked as a produce manager at The Market Basket and Piggly Wiggly. He was a loving father, son, brother and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents W.J. and Annie Pearl Smith; special friends Ashley Hudson and Margo Cunningham.

Survivors are his son, Benjamin Hudson Smith; brother, Jody Smith and wife Amber, all of Brookhaven, MS; nephew Blake Smith; nieces Brooklyn Smith and Karleigh Smith; aunts Carolyn Lofton and husband Junior and Grace Franklin; uncle Jimmy M. Smith and wife Betty Sue; and a host of family and friends.
