Graveside services for Mr. Jack Randall Smith will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Jack R. Smith, 77, of Union Church, MS passed away on April 16, 2025 at Copiah County Medical Center in Hazlehurst, MS. He was born in Brookhaven, MS on October 17, 1947 to Garland L. Smith and Julia Vivian Waldon Smith.

He was a member of New Hope Methodist Church in Lincoln County, MS. He worked at Oddee Smith Construction Company as a heavy machine operator for many years. Mr. Jack was an avid trot line fisherman and hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Julia Smith; 3 nephews, Brian Smith, Tony Smith and Kirk Smith; and his step-son Brian Rue.

Survivors are his wife of 25 years, Dorothy Robertson Smith; and various nieces and nephews; and his best friend James Falvey.

The family would like to offer a thank you to the staff at Copiah County Medical Center and Arden Hospice Care for their loving service for Mr. Smith.
