Funeral services for Mrs. Iva Nell Nations Foster will be on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Fair River Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Fair River Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Bobby Smith and Bro. David Fortenberry will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM.

Mrs. Foster, 87, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life early on Saturday morning July 1, 2017, at Haven Hall Nursing Home in Brookhaven, MS. She was born on March 19, 1930 in Lincoln County, MS, to Versie and Iva Smith Nations. She enjoyed interior decorating for people and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and wife.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Versie and Iva Nations; her husband Arthur Melvin (Ed) Foster; son, Dean Foster; brother V. C. Nations, Jr. and wife Amaryllis; and brother-in-law Malcolm Wallace.


Survivors are her daughter-in-law Linda Foster of Brookhaven; sister Annalo Wallace of Madison, MS; brother John Paul Nations and wife Sue of Brookhaven; niece Paula Yancey and husband Jim of Moss Point, MS; nephews Dr. Mickey Wallace of Madison, MS, Freddie Nations, Timmy Nations and Joel Nations, all of Brookhaven, MS; and many friends.
