Funeral services for Mr. Homer Donald King will be on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Dr. Garland Boyd and Bro. Ronnie Robinson will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Macedonia Baptist Church on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

Mr. King, 60, of Brookhaven, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 6, 1956 to Dewey (Nub) King and Idelia Bardwell King. He enjoyed life and family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Shelina King; his two sisters, Katherine Hall and Yvonne Coon; and his grandchild, (Little) William Ratcliff.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shelia King; his son, Kelly King and wife Alajuana; his grandchildren, Damion Ratcliff, Clayton Morris, Tristen King, Brie King, Lexi Morris, and Ravin Ratcliff; his sisters, JoAnn Hawkins and Donis Foster; and a host of family and friends.
