Helen W. White, of Crocker, Missouri formerly of Brookhaven, Mississippi, was born on January 14, 1934, at Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, a daughter of Lonnie and Mamie (McCaffrey) Wallace and was raised by Hugh and Lillian Magee. Mrs. White departed this life at 10:52 a.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2018, in the Miller County Care Center, Tuscumbia, Missouri. She had attained the age of 84 years and 9 days.
Mrs. White was united in marriage on April 15, 1979 in Louisiana, to Isy "Evon" White who preceded her in death on August 8, 2010. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Mamie; her family that raised her, Hugh and Lillian; four brothers, Edward, Charles, Wesley and James Wallace and two sisters, Marguerite Warren and Quida Magee Ford.
Mrs. White was a member of the Union Baptist Church in Brookhaven, Mississippi and was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. White include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Tina and Roger Sutton, Crocker, Missouri and Gina (Cole) Walsh, St. Charles, Missouri; her step son, David White and his wife, Gayle and their family, of the state of Mississippi; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Bonnie Wallace, Brookhaven, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Michael Arnold, Marlena (Armando) Perez, Malisa (Benjamin) Adams, Matthew Arnold, Adam Cole, Noah (Maribeth) Cole and Whitney Cole; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation was held for Mrs. White on Thursday, January 25, 2018, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker, Missouri.
Visitation was held from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., all on Sunday, January 28, 2018, in the Brookhaven Funeral Home, Brookhaven, Mississippi, Pastor Billy Joe Deer officiated. Mrs. White was laid to rest next to her beloved husband in the Easthaven Cemetery, Brookhaven, Mississippi.
