Funeral services for Helen Marie Bowman Roberts will be on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 12:30 PM till 2:00 PM.

Helen Roberts, 84, of Brookhaven, MS passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Trend Health & Rehab of Brookhaven, MS. She was born in Lincoln County, MS on January 9, 1941 to Shelton L. Bowman and Bessie Mae Case Bowman.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Helen enjoyed gardening, word puzzles, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelton and Bessie Bowman; husband John Thomas Roberts; son John Charles Roberts; sister Beulah Mae Bowman Thompson; and brother H.D. Bowman.

Survivors are daughter, Annie Roberts Case (John Ricky); grandchildren, Jessica Case Albright (Marty) and Katie Case Dent (John); great grandchildren, Evelyn and Eliza Dent; and one brother Frank E. Bowman (Betty Ann).
