Graveside services for Mrs. Helen Price Nix will be on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM. Rev. Greg Warnock will be officiating the service, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) on the same day (Tuesday, January 10, 2017) from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM.

Mrs. Nix, 90,of Brookhaven,MS passed from this life on Friday, January 6, 2017 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 14, 1926 in Crystal Springs, MS, to Howard Marshall Price and Maude Ellen Smith Price. She enjoyed working on word puzzles and spending time with her family, especially at any sporting events they were involved in. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 55 years, Guy Harris Nix, Jr.; and sisters, Evelyn Ross, Edith Stephens, Lavonne Luna, and Jean Wright.

Survivors are her sons, Guy Harris Nix, III and wife Debbie of Brookhaven, MS and Gary Nix and wife Kathy of Brookhaven, MS; grandchildren, Ryan Nix, Amanda Nix Flathers and husband Greg, Lauren Nix Bourland and husband Russell, and Guy Harris Nix, IV and wife Neelie; step-grandchild, Candie Copeland and husband Donnie; great grandchildren, Isabella Flathers, Geoff Flathers, Alyssa Flathers, Brett Bourland, and Jaylea Nix; step-grandchild, Erica Copeland; sisters, Jane P. Nutt and husband William of Madison, MS, Grace Parnell of Nashville, TN, Martha Price of Brookhaven, MS, and Margaret Price, also of Brookhaven, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
