Funeral services for Gregory Alan Greene will be on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Topisaw Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. David Moree will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.

Mr. Greene, 64, of Ruth, MS, passed from this life on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at his residence in Ruth, MS. He was born on December 16, 1953, in Houston, TX, to Elmo Peyton Greene and Pauline Pullen Greene Brown. He was of the Baptist faith and worked for many years in the oilfield industry and logging industry. He enjoyed fishing and loved his dogs, Sadie and Shorty. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. There was nobody that he loved more than his children and grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Steve Greene; and grandson, Brett Greene.

Survivors are his wife, Carrie Little Greene; daughters, Amy Burket and Barb of Georgia, and Tamara Greene of McComb, MS; sons, Chance Greene and wife Candace of Brookhaven, MS, and Peyton Greene and wife Ashley of Ruth, MS; step-daughter, Jessie Kennedy of California; step-sons, Jody and James of Brookhaven, MS; 11 grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
