Funeral services for Grace Case Remington will be on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS. Bro. Tom McCormick will be officiating the services, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Remington, 91, passed from this life on Friday, November 25, 2016, at her residence in Wesson, MS. She was born on May 4, 1925, in Lincoln County, MS, to Louis and Rena Furlow Case. She was a lifelong member of Zion Hill Baptist Church; was a homemaker; and enjoyed shopping, socializing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Louis and Rena Furlow Case; husband, Vernon Edward Remington; sisters, Julia Walker Mooney and Nana Lois Case; brothers, Memphis Case and Lee Case; and son-in-law, Buell "Rusty" Carty.

Survivors are her daughters, Barbara Remington Crow and husband Billy of Wesson, MS, Billie Remington Carty of Wesson, MS, and Brenda Remington Chatham and husband Perron of Petal, MS; grandchildren, Dr. Leslie Anne Carty, Troy Edward "Eddie" Carty, Bradley Crow and wife Becca, Misty Crow Oster and husband Joseph, Craig Chatham and wife Deborah, Casey Chatham Harvey and Gordon, and Carl Chatham and wife Courtney; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
