Graveside services for Mrs. Gladys S. Smith will be on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Friendship Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Chad Yarborough will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 84, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on April 1, 2020, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS.  She was born on October 7, 1935, in Meadville, MS, to Ernest Smith and Winnie Lofton Smith. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and worked for many years as a supervisor at Stahl Urban Manufacturing Company. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Clayton Lamar Smith; and brother, Edgar Smith.

Survivors are her sons, Mitchell Smith and his wife Matilda, Donald Smith and his wife Ann, and Randy Smith, all of Brookhaven, MS; brother, Carol Smith of Meadville, MS; grandchildren, Clay Smith and wife Ashley, Anna Kathyrn Smith, Brittany Griffin and husband Josh, and Victoria Rippy and husband Josh;  great-grandchildren, Claira Layne Smith, and Zoey King; and a host of family and friends.
