A beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, GiGi Love left this world unexpectedly on March 21, 2022.

Born in Brookhaven on October 16, 1979, she grew up in the Enterprise and Wellman communities and attended Enterprise Attendance Center.

The definition of a free spirit is a "person that lives from the heart without constraint". That was our GiGi. We suppose she may have missed her era because she truly fit what might be described as the quintessential flower child. Art, music, butterflies and a talent for singing and dancing and creating beauty with her hands…. that was her.

GiGi was funny, outgoing and feisty. We will always remember her infectious smile and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be missed.

When you think of GiGi, celebrate the good memories of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

GiGi is survived by her sons, Noah and Darby, mother, Catherine Barrilleaux; brother, Kristopher Barrilleaux (Katrina); nephew, Neo Barrilleaux; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

Preceding her in death was her father, Daniel Barrilleaux; paternal grandparents, Carbit and Eula Barrilleaux; maternal grandmother, Rita Burnett and aunt, Denise Burnett.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in GiGi's name to the charity of your choice.
