Obituary

Funeral services for George Timothy "Timmy" Allen will be on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Pleasant Ridge United Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS. Bro. David Lambert will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Mr. Allen, 51, passed from this life on Monday, September 12, 2016, at his residence in Wesson, MS. He was born on September 1, 1965, in Brookhaven, MS, to Nathan Seth and Eva Bell Lofton Allen. He worked at Axiall Chemical (Georgia Gulf) in Gallman, MS, for 20 plus years. He was an avid hunter that enjoyed the outdoors. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend.

Survivors are his daughters, Adrienne Allen Weeks and husband Lyle of Wesson, MS, and Olivia Allen of Wesson, MS; parents, Nathan Seth and Eva Bell Lofton Allen of Wesson, MS; brother, Terry Allen and Brigitte of Wesson, MS; grandchildren, Maddox and Mattie Grace Weeks, and Bentley Luke; nieces, Shelbie and Savanna Allen; and a host of family and friends.
