Funeral services for Gary Ross Sandifer, Sr. will be on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson, MS, at 4:00 PM with burial to follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Tom McCormick will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Zion Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM.

Mr. Sandifer, 85, of Wesson, MS, passed from this life on Friday, September 13, 2019, at his residence.  He was born on August 30, 1934, in Rosedale, LA, to Ewing Dennit and Pearlie Mae Bryant Sandifer. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church; worked for many years as a driller in the oilfield for Noble Drilling; and enjoyed fishing, camping, going out to eat, watching NASCAR racing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife of 63 years, Grace Keys Sandifer; and 7 siblings.

Survivors are his children, Ross Sandifer and wife Shirley, Ann Sandifer Clark and husband Mike, David Sandifer, and Lynn Sandifer Sharp all of Wesson, MS; brother, Maxie Sandifer and wife Clara; grandchildren, Bradley Sandifer, Ryan Sandifer and wife Misty, Bryan Sandifer and wife Hayley, Jennifer Clark Crapps and husband Shaun, Joey Clark and wife Aly, Dusty Sandifer and wife Melissa, Hanna Chinn, and Kayla Cook Carter and husband Graham; great-grandchildren, Abigail Sandifer, Braden Taylor, Corley Sandifer, Sadie Sandifer, Gavin Sandifer, Laynee Crapps, Rowan Crapps, Colton Sandifer, Ryleigh Clark, Ainslea Clark, Harper Clark, Noah Parks, Naomi Clark and Patterson Carter; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Bradley Sandifer, Ryan Sandifer, Bryan Sandifer, Joey Clark, Shaun Crapps, Bennett Cliburn and Braden Taylor. Honorary pallbearer is Dusty Sandifer.
