Funeral services for Frances Scarborough will be on September 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Wesson Baptist Church in Wesson, MS with burial to follow in Wesson City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Wesson Baptist Church on September 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM until service time. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Frances Scarborough of Wesson, MS passed away on September 15, 2025. She was born in Utica, MS. on April 23, 1927 to Clifton Stubbs and Sarah "Sadie" Curtis. She was a member of Wesson Baptist Church. She worked as an accountant/bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Levelle Scarborough; parents, Sadie and Clifton Stubbs; sisters, Glady's Stegall and Alice Kuhn.

Survivors include Charles Newman, Dupree Newman, Ruby Loyd, niece, and nephews.

The family would like to offer a thank you to our Hospice family who were there in her final hours. And a thank you to her care-giver Melissa Hutson for being there for Frances and for being more than a caregiver-she was a friend.
