A visitation will be held for Mrs. Faye Hillman McKey at Brookhaven Funeral Home on the evening of Tuesday, August 6, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume at noon on Wednesday and continue until 1:30 PM. Graveside services will be held at Easthaven Cemetery on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Bro. Pat Sullivan will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McKey, 88, of Brookhaven, Mississippi passed from this life on August 3, 2024 at Silver Cross Nursing Home. She was born on July 24, 1936 to Rev. Jesse Denman Griffin and Gussie Greer Griffin. Faye McKey lived a life dedicated to serving the Lord; she loved her Jesus. Her testimony was reflected in everything she did from being a Loving dedicated wife, a caring mother and grandmother, a faithful sister and a friend to all. She had a heart for helping the little children afflicted by sickness and for those that do not know Jesus. She was a walking testimony with a heart bent on sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepfather, Martin Sartin, and by her husbands, Hugh Hillman, Sr. and James McKey.

She is survived by her children Hugh Hillman (Heather) of Stockdale, TX, Mike Hillman of Santa Fe, TX, David Hillman (Amanda) of Canton, TX, Marty Hillman (Connie) of Brookhaven, and Becky Deaton (David) of Madison, AL; grandchildren Brady Hillman, Ian Hillman, Chae Hillman, Joshua Hillman, Christopher Hillman, Taylor Cupp, Myka Cupp, Samone Thurston, Misty Bostic, Jamie Wallace, Eric Deaton, and Anna Deaton; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; her brother, Jimmy Griffin; and her sister, Maye Wentworth.
