Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Anglin Cole will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Shady Grove Baptist Church (4056 Shady Grove Road SE) in Bogue Chitto, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume at Shady Grove Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Cole, 89, passed from this life on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was born on October 31, 1928, to George Bell Anglin and Lillie Pearl Denson Anglin as the seventh of ten children. She married Oscar Warren Cole on March 17, 1956, and settled in the Shady Grove community near Ruth, Mississippi, where they lived for most of the 53 years of their marriage until his death on January 3, 2010.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; three brothers, Holland Anglin, Laymone Anglin, and Billy Anglin; and five sisters, Desiree Reynolds, Lillie Belle Buie, Louise Coghlan, Jeannine Martin, and Bette Jo Valentine.

Survivors are her sister, Delilah Boos Shaw; daughter, Marcia Walker and her husband Larry; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

The family extends its sincere thanks to her neighbors and staff at Sunnybrook Estates in Madison, who made her too-brief stay so enjoyable, and to the doctors and nurses at Baptist Medical Center for their professional and compassionate care.
