A celebration of the life of Everly Cove Winter will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS. Visitation will be held from 10 until 12 noon, and a special service will begin at 12 noon. There will be a graveside service to follow at Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery.

Everly Cove Winter was born on April 2, 2025 to Walker and Aly Winter at UMMC in Jackson, MS. Cove, nearly 6 months old, left this life behind and stepped into the presence of Jesus on Monday, September 29, 2025.

Cove was a very bright and joyful baby girl. Though she remained in the hospital for the entirety of her earthly life, she brought so much life to her environment. She enjoyed smiling and cooing at her parents and nurses, listening to worship music, reading colorful books, and being held and rocked to sleep (especially on her daddy's chest). She was very well loved by family, friends, and a special community of medical staff.

Her life story will be carried on by her parents (Walker & Aly Winter), big sister (Manna Winter), grandparents (Todd & Nancy Winter; John & Tina Floyd), great-grandparents (Roger & Pat Winter Langford; Peggy Stepp), aunts & uncles (Mattie Winter; John & Emily Floyd; Tj & Teri Floyd; Jacob & Amy Walker), cousins, family-friends, and so many others.

Walker and Aly would like to thank their family and friends, the nurses and medical staff that cared for Cove, their Macedonia Baptist Church family, the Brookhaven community, and everyone who has supported them over these months. The family would also like to thank Brookhaven Funeral Home for providing special arrangements.
