Funeral services for Evelyn Applewhite Mason will be on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Ruth Cemetery in Ruth, MS at 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Mason, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS.  She was born on May 8, 1933 to Pinkie Applewhite and A.D. Applewhite.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Curtis D. Mason; son, Curtis D. Mason Jr; and siblings, William Applewhite, A. D. Applewhite Jr, and Paul Applewhite.

Survivors are her children, Susan Peyton, Gary Mason, Pam Watkins, and Beverly Herrington; and siblings, Frances Davis and Alice Smith; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
