Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Marie Cupit will be held at New Hope Methodist Church on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 10:00 in the morning; graveside services will follow in the Union Church Cemetery. Visitation will take place at Brookhaven Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 on Wednesday evening, October 8.

Eva Marie Case Cupit died peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Eva was born to Hollis E and Jewel Magee Case on August 25, 1936.  She married Malcolm Truly Cupit on January 10, 1955.  They had three children; Nancy, Malcolm, and Norman.  Malcolm Sr. died in 1967, and Eva moved her family to Brookhaven.  She had a long career with Brookhaven Separate School District as a teacher's aide at Mamie Martin and Brookhaven Elementary Schools.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Neva Case, Susie Wilson, and Bobbie Wallace; as well as her brother, Hollis Earl Case.

Eva is survived by her sister, Mona Falvey; her children, Nancy Cupit Montague (Charlie), Malcolm T. Cupit (Marlene), and Norman H. Cupit (Lori).  Also left behind are 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Beehive Assisted Living and the Arden Hospice staff for their care.
