A memorial visitation remembering and celebrating the life of Mrs. Etoy Turnage will be held at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Friday, December 22, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM.

Etoy R. Turnage, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend.

Etoy passed peacefully at her home in the early morning hours of December 18, 2023.

She was born September 23rd 1935 to Holland and Frances S. Raynes. She married the late Gene A. Turnage in July 1953. After traveling the world with the US Army, they settled in Brookhaven, MS, where they spent their lives building their country home, fishing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Etoy loved to garden and cook. But most dear to her heart was spending time with her family. Especially while sitting in her back porch swing.

She will be remembered for her love and fighting spirit by her son, Darrell Gene Turnage; daughter-in-law, Adrian B. Turnage; granddaughter, Charity Turnage-Roberts and husband, Shaun Allen Roberts; grandson, Coleman B. Turnage "Train" and wife, Cindy M. Turnage; great-grandchildren, Amy Grace and Bryce; and a nephew, Sam Dicks.
